Lean methodology focuses on the elimination of waste, and the efficient creation of enterprise value The Lean Flight Initiative (LFI) was established in 2005, to develop and promote Lean principles, practices, and tools among aircraft operators, and aerospace companies worldwide.

Due to the success of our previous conference, we are proud to announce that the Third Annual LFI Conference will take place at Dromoland Castle 8 & 9 April 2008.

There will be high profile representatives from airlines, major aerospace companies and leading universities such as Boeing, Rockwell Collins, Aircraft Management Technologies, Shannon Aerospace, ARGO Consulting, Air Canada Jazz, Northwest Airlines and KLM. The Keynote Address will be presented by Ken Kreafle, GM Toyota Motor Manufacturing Company who will discuss ‘The Practical Adaptation of The Toyota Production System (Lean) to the Aviation Industry.

You will have the opportunity to meet and learn from leading Lean experts through Case Study Presentations. In addition to this, One of the Conference highlights will be a Gala Dinner at the historic Knappogue Castle and a ‘Hole in One’ Golf Competition.
